2018 Blue Pyrenees Estate Richardson Cabernet Sauvignon

This is a great example of Cabernet from the Pyrenees with the wine showing both varietal and regional characteristics. A deep glossy red with a nose that is defined by blackberry and plum fruit that is lifted by spice, liquorice and a touch of mint.

There is structure and presence to black fruits that are joined by unsweetened liquorice and graphite with dark chocolate and a build of earth and cigar box like spice. The length is commanding to finish with a touch of bay leaf and mint to drying dark berry fruits.
