A deep red in the glass with a floral nose that is laced with cassis, cocoa like spice and a touch of dried mint. It is almost Coonawarra meets Barossa on the palate, glossy black fruits are layered and impactful but there is a seamless flow of acidity and build of drying, taut tannin. The finish sees cedar like spice melding with blackberry, the length is excellent. A benchmark example of Cabernet Sauvignon from one of Australia's emerging regions.
