2019 Curtis Cavaliere Cabernet Sauvignon

A grape variety in McLaren Vale that is often overshadowed by Shiraz and now Grenache, this is an excellent example of the varietal and regional expression of the grape. A medium red in therm of colour with a saturation of blackberry on the nose with a dusting of tobacco and dark chocolate. The palate is sweetly fruited with vibrant and pure mulberry and blackberry; tannins are fine and acidity is well textured. The influence of oak is that of a cedar like spice that shows itself to finish alongside dark cocoa and generous dark berry fruits.
