There is a lot to like about this wine, it is unabashedly big given its 15% alcohol but it is deeply varietal and packed full of flavour. Above all it has very good balance.
The nose focuses on blackberry and plum that is backed by unsweetened liquorice. The palate is expansive and fills the mouth with black fruits that take on mocha and cedar spice whilst being amply supported by dark chocolate laced tannin and balanced acidity.
The finish lingers with blackberry and chocolate.
