A dark red with purple hues to the rim; violets, graphite and blackberry provide aromatic interest that is continued on the palate with finely textured blackberry that is etched with mint, dark chocolate and a backdrop of gently drying tannin. The finish is long and enjoys cassis and fresh earth. Impressive value here.
