The grapes for this wine were sourced from the Mt Barker region within Great Southern and the wine aged in older oak for 16 months.
A nose of ripe mulberry and blackberry fruit with some christmas cake like spice. The palate is ripe, rounded and supple with broad strokes of black fruits and a touch of alcohol warmth. There is a faint textural grip of tannin that contrast bold black fruits to finish with good length.
