A vibrant red with purple hues in colour, the nose is expressive with violets, blackberry and understated cedar like spice. The palate is tightly coiled with beautifully textured black fruits taking on cocoa, earth and a faint liquorice thread. The influence of tannin and acidity is perfectly balanced and gives drive and focus now, as well as underwriting a long future in the cellar.
The finish is long and etched with blackberry and gentle brown spice.
