A herbaceous and peppery edge to ripe blackberry on the nose, the palate continues in the same vein with oak giving a veneer of richness and gentle spice that frames the fruit. To finish there is a suppleness to the fruit that is cut through by well handled acidity and tannins that take on an understated liquorice note.
