A glossy, deep red in the glass. There is a lovely mint, milk chocolate like aspect to the nose that is backed by plum and blackberry fruits. The wine has generosity, but maintains it's varietal appeal with driving black fruits enjoying black olive from the inclusion of 10% Merlot. A touch of leather and spice completes the picture of a wine that is sure to enjoy a few years in bottle.
