2016 Willunga 100 Grenache Rose

A rose from Willunga 100 was bound to be Grenache dominant given their affinity with the grape variety ! The wine is a pretty salmon pink in the glass with a nose that gives youthful wild strawberry and a faint touch of musk. The palate provides crunchy blackberry and strawberry fruit with savoury edges that benefits from lively citrus acidity that leads towards a drying, textural mouthfeel to finish.

A complex and robust rose that will work well with food and go for a couple of years.
