A medium red with violets, earth and black pastilles that works alongside dark cherry fruit.
A texturally pleasing wine with a balance struck between wild strawberry and cherry fruit and crunchier acidity and fine tannins. Oak gives support in the way of baking spice before the finish is driven by wild strawberry.
The wine is drinking beautifully in it's youth but will also gain some additional characters over the short term.
