A nose of dark cherry, wild strawberry, spring herbs and touch of straw. The palate is medium to full bodied with mouth filling red berry fruits with enough of a savoury edge to give contrast and dimension. The finish has cherry pip and bitter dark cocoa to deep and satisfying berry compote, acidity and tannin are well handled to bring things to a close.
