A medium red in terms of colour with raspberry and cherry taking on some more serious plum and bramble on the nose with some spice and savoury influence from oak. The is good texture on the palate with a layered expression of darker berried fruits, oak provides a veneer of richness as well as wood derived tannin. The finish sees plenty of plum and raspberry fruit that carries the influence of oak and bright acidity. A wine that will hold for a number of years.
