2016 Hand Crafted by Geoff Hardy Malbec

This Malbec is sourced Langhorne Creek and exhibits the generosity and richness of dark berried fruit that you expect from the variety, but also has a more serious, earthen side that provides plenty of interest.

A nose of blackberry, raspberry, plum and bracken that has a wisp of oak spice and liquorice. The palate is medium bodied with a gently earthen core that has dark fruits woven throughout; there is plenty of acidity that keeps things moving and works in well with drying but fine tannin. The finish has sullen, drying dark fruits that linger.

Will cellar well over the medium term.
