A touch of blackberry, soy and background cherry cola notes show themselves on the nose; Acidity and tannin rule the wine at this point in it's life with just enough depth of dark berry fruits and spiced oak to keep things in check. The tannins are grainy and chalky, the blue fruits is broad and savoury and points to a wine that will be better in time, but with plenty of potential.
