Deep red in colour, the nose shows ripe stems, dark cherry and earth. The palate has dark cherry, stewed plum and cinnamon, however all elements are not quite working in harmony, the tannin structure is firm, with some slightly stalky notes. The finish is long and savoury. This wine needs time.
