An interesting blend that sees Merlot (64%) blended with Semillon (36%) and a small amount of residual sugar left in the wine.
A slightly darker salmon hue than some Rose's, but it does provide a striking colour in the glass. The nose is freshly fruited and laced with wild strawberry, peppery red apple and citrus. There is initial strawberry and rose petal notes on the palate before the wine is taken to a more savoury place that gives contrast but also makes this a more food friendly wine than most Rose's.
