2017 Terra Felix Harcourt Valley Merlot

This is not your run of the mill Merlot, it's has genuine varietal appeal and interest at a good price.

A generous deep red in the glass with decadence of plum and cedar along with some understated savoury tones on the nose. Oak shines through and provides a heady backdrop to bright red berry fruits with the wine showing a tannin and acid profile that has enough drive to contrast the fruit and underpin medium term development. There is a wash of spice and earth that joins plum to finish.
