The nose doesn't provide much varietal appeal with alcohol warmth and dusty savoury characters. The palate has a drying tannin backbone with acidity that overwhelms the black berry fruits with an earthen edge . Tannins are hard going with some warmth of dark cherry fruit to finish. Time may help sort things out.
