A classic rendition of Australian Merlot that shows all the trappings of quality new French oak with plum and leather nuance.
The palate is all class with a sheath of vanillin richness; coffee and earthen plum set against a fine line of acidity and graphite like tannins, there is the faintest touch of alcohol warmth but it's hard not to enjoy the savoury disposition to dark berry fruits to finish.
