The nose is heady combination of olive and deep plum that has a lift of oak richness. The olive gives way to liquorice on the palate with an elegance to the briary red and dark berry fruits. Tannins are fine and supportive with enough acidity to underwrite excellent length. If only more Australian Merlot was this good.
