The wine was aged in a blend of both American and French Oak with a spiced overtone to black cherry and plum on the nose. The wine is medium to full bodied with black cherry and plum paving a path from start to finish; there is a touch of richer wild strawberry but the wine is undeniably savoury with tannins etched with bitter dark cocoa to finish. Good length and is sure to age.
