A pretty light pink in the glass, crunchy red cherry and cranberries frame the nose; the palate has breadth of strawberry, with cherry skins providing a textural contrast. The wine does show its alcohol which makes it a more full bodied expression of the style, and more likely to go with food. The warmth does detract slightly from the finish.
