A medium red in colour, a nose of black cherry, kirsh that is backed by savoury spice and fresh earth. The palate is supple and expansive with purity of black cherry; tannins are quite remarkable with a cherry pip savouriness that gives wonderful structure and contrast to the plush primary fruits. The length to finish is significant with a gentle build of oak derived spice a nice embellishment. Approachable now but with a long future ahead.
