The nose is built around black cherry with rhubarb, bracken and sweeter spice. The palate is medium bodied with a continuation of the firm, textural black cherry that gives a backdrop for finely nuanced plum and blueberry fruits to have impact, there is lightness and floral lift across the mid palate and an understated smokiness that fits the style. Good length that is more about savoury influence than primary fruits. A wine that will evolve really well over time.
