A medium red in the glass with good clarity, the nose has a density of cherry fruit that is more dark than red with cool earth, blood orange and lifted spice. The palate is rich, but deeply varietal with spiced black cherry that has a pull of unsweetened cranberry and graphite before opening up to fuller, sweeter expressions of black cherry and rhubarb. Tannins are firm and drying whilst also being softened by the impact of oak. Good length and concentration.
