A beautiful release of Curly Flat that walks the line between being pretty and floral and that of a wine with latent power.
The nose sees bright black cherry combining with wet earth and understated brown spice. The palate has black cherry from start to finish; there is a black tea influence and taut lines of acidity that afford the wine wonderful texture and length. There is a general coolness to the wine with fruit flowing effortlessly and textured detail that unfurls with time in the glass. Drinking well now but should be exceptional in time.
