2021 Cloak & Dagger The Cloak Sangiovese

A blend of the King and Alpine valleys, it is exactly what you would expect from a young sangiovese; purity of fruit, plenty of crunch and a dusting of savoury flare.

The palate is juicy with dark cherry and raspberry fruit that takes on dark chocolate and earth. Tannins are incredibly fine but have an enjoyable bitterness that when combined with racy acidity gives wonderful contrasts to the wine. Enjoyable in its youth, but bound to give a different expression with a year or two in bottle.
