			A blend of 54% Shiraz, 37% Grenache, 9% Mourvedre.
It's nice to see a SGM released with a bit of age, the nose has some real interest with cured meats, leather and flashes of mint secondary accompaniments to integrated black berry fruits that only comes from time in bottle.
The palate continues in the same vein as the nose and is more about it's earthen, savoury secondary complexities than primary fruits, slightly leaner than the 14.5% alcohol suggests with a touch of iodine this is very much a nod to the Rhone Valley. That being said there is a sweetness of fruit to finish that is slightly distracting before leathery complexity takes hold.
