Quite a reductive nose that takes some time to shake before black berry fruits with some floral notes come to the fore. The wine has concentration and fullness of mouth feel with the Viognier lifting the savoury plum fruits, tannins are supple with some pepper and chocolate notes that are drying to finish. It doesn't hit the same high watermark from previous vintages.
