The wine starts a touch reductive but with some air opens up to give rustic dark berry fruits that are etched with bracken and cocoa. The palate is medium bodied with a grainy, undergrowth laden baseline of tannin, fruit sits between black cherry and plum with a touch of cured meat and pepper. Fruit and savoury impact work hand in hand to finish.
