A medium but glossy red in the glass, lovely Barossa nose of rich, ripe plum and blackberry fruits that are lifted by dark chocolate and baking spices. The palate is full bodied, with fruit and oak taking stage in equal proportions and the quality of both are quite impressive. Tannins have character in being both drying but having a plush vibrancy to them. Long, classic Barossa finish.
