2019 Chateau Yaldara Reserve Shiraz

2019 was a good year for Shiraz in the Barossa with the Reserve release having layers of fruit and considered embellishments of spice and earth from time in American and French oak. The nose has floral plum and black cherry with baking spice; the most enjoyable aspect to the wine is the freshness that is afforded by impressively managed acidity and tannin that gives great contrast to what is a full powered expression of Barossa fruit. The finish is long and saturated with fruit and spice.
