A deep red in the glass, with an enjoyable interplay between spicy, impactful oak and glossy blackberry and plum. Oak gives a spice and dark chocolate backdrop to voluptuous plum, with tannins fine and having enough savoury impact to give balance. A touch of bay leaf on the mid palate gives an earthen nuance before a long finish that enjoys Christmas cake like spice to black fruits.
