The wine was matured in 40% new French Oak for 18 months prior to bottling. This is super premium Coonawarra Shiraz.
A nose of plum, leather and earth with a touch of spice and graphite. The palate is beautifully integrated with plum at the fore, and layered support of black olive and leather that has a brine and brown spice aspect. There is a freshness and floral drive that keeps things moving to finish. A very impressive wine.
