A medium to deep red in the glass, the nose has a faint reductive note to plum and black cherry that is lifted by warm American oak derived spice. The palate is full bodied with a plushness of plum that has taken on generous oak influences, as well as tannins that flow with dark chocolate nuance. The finish has a savoury pull with drying oak tannins alongside brambly dark berries.
