A deep red with some purple hues in the glass. The nose shows substantial impact of oak, and more green herbs than fruit showing at this point. The palate continues in the same vein as the nose with malty oak sitting in front of non-descript black fruits. The alcohol shows on the mid palate and tannins are hard to get past to finish. Not sure where this one will go.
