2021 Penley Estate Blewitt Springs Shiraz

A vibrant and glossy deep red to purple in the glass, fruit is wonderfully concentrated with plum and blackberry giving great aromatics on the nose. There is a continuation of the fruit focus on the palate however it tends more to raspberry and blackberry and joined by some peppery and dark chocolate notes. Acidity and tannins are finely balanced and well integrated to the wine. Not one for long term cellaring, but over the next few years with a focus on vibrant fruit will be sure to impress.
