A wonderfully elegant wine that is fittingly called a Syrah with a mineral, leathery and spice laden wine quite rhone like in its stylings. Aromatics still show primary fruits of plum and mulberry that are steeped in baking herbs, spice and gentle earth.
There is a moreishness to the wine with a silky texture that is swept along by a generous sheath of oak before a build of cured meats, leather and spice that is both textural and gives the wine contrast. Great length to finish.
