The nose has generosity of smokey dark cherry and freshly cooked tomato with rosemary. The wine has good texture with a softness of earthen cherry fruit that builds with tannins that take on some oak induced spice. The mid palate is where the wine really shines with old leather and gentle spice lifting unsweetened berry compote. The length to finish focuses on savoury, earthen red fruits with good length.
