The 2018's from Angullong are looking very good across the board, this wine was a touch reductive initially but that blows off to reveal black cherry and plum fruit, the palate is fruit forward initially with generous plum before showing a savoury build of texture with undergrowth and bramble giving contrast to primary fruits. There is raspberry and sour cherry with a lift of vanillin oak and tannic grip to finish.
