The nose shows crushed herbs and dark / morello cherry fruits with some sweetness of oak coming through. The palate shows a wine that's light on its feet in terms of primary red berry fruits, tannins are fine and build slowly and fruit is swept along by some well framed acidity. The subtle integration of oak and the litheness of cherry and strawberry fruit is the highlight. A wine to be best enjoyed over the shorter term in the throws of its youth.
