A deep red with purple hues to the rim, the nose is drying with a touch of black olive alongside blackberry and some volatile components that blow off in the glass. The palate has earthen stylings with cherry and bramble alongside grainy tannins that are incredibly drying, the finish is driven by black fruits with a continuation of the drying savoury notes and bitter dark chocolate. The wine has all the elements but will need time.
