The wine has seen Seven years on lees with 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir.
A slight golden yellow in colour with an attractive, fine bead. The nose is layered with brioche, flint and understated stone fruits. The palate has precise acidity that gives dimension and flow to the wine whilst also balancing the richer lees induced characters that are somewhere between flint and aged Comte, which is a lovely place to be.
The finish enjoys more of a citrus influence that gives texture and contrast, as well as underpinning significant length.
