2020 Oakridge Yarra Valley Chardonnay

The team at Oakridge continue to produce some of the best Chardonnay in Australia across a wide spectrum of price points, with the Yarra Valley release having quality fruit and a textured approach to winemaking at its core.

A light yellow in colour, the wine gives white peach, fig and blanched almonds on the nose. There is a rolling brioche and almonmeal richness to the wine that moves from start to finish; acidity gives dimension and there is a textural grapefruit grip that offers structure.

The interplay between savoury edged fruit and the creaminess that time on lees can provide to finish provides interest and contemplation.
