There is a sheath of flint and oak induced richness that frames the nose, with taut stone fruits and some citrus zest. The palate almost mirrors the nose at this point of its development with a struck match and finely textured vanillin oak wrapped up in lemony acidity and just ripe stone fruit. There is energy and plenty to enjoy but it will be interesting to see if the fruit can match the winemaker influence over time.
