The final in a trio of superb 2023 releases from Tapanappa. It will go down as an incredibly cool year, but the wines produced have elegance and structure that will see them evolve for decades.
The Piccadilly Valley release is the richest of the three releases, but by the smallest margin. The nose has flinty, mealy nectarine before the palate opens up with a lovely flow of linear, yet textured stone fruits. There is a vanillin lift, and feigned tropical notes before citrus takes hold.
The length is long and chiseled to finish.
