A relatively new variety for the Hunter Valley with Chardonnay vines in the Roxborough vineyard making way for Vermentino.
The wine is a light to golden yellow in colour with a nose of lemon curd and green apple. The palate is lively with zesty citrus fruits that take on a blood orange and grapefruit in terms of both flavour and mouth puckering texture on the mid palate. There is a return of driving lemon fruit to finish with good savoury length.
