Brown pear meets red apple and citrus on the nose, the palate shows plenty of savoury expression with pear skins and lemony acidity before richer red apple comes through and counters the wines more serious influences. Great texture and drive to finish, and it is certainly a good wine and quite different to your run of the mill Pinot Gris
