A nose that sees lime and lemon showing themselves in equal measure with a touch of crushed slate. A well made wine with a jasmine thread set against lime fruit but it doesn't have the same level of concentration and finely chiseled lines of acidity as the other 2021 Riesling releases from Gundog. This should not be surprising given the grapes were sourced from the Yarra Valley. The finish is satisfying with flowing lime and cut flowers.
